Good Tidings!

We would like to extend the good news to every Muslim residing everywhere; especially in the state of Minnesota, that Dar Al-Hijrah Mosque, which has been serving the vast Muslim population in the state of Minnesota for the last seven years, is now in the hands of Muslims.

The exchange of signatures in regards to the purchasing of the building has taken place on Friday April 7, 2006, which was Rabi Al-Awal 9, 1427 H in the Islamic calendar. The mosque was on sale for $400,000, and the building sits on a measurement of 25,000 sq ft.

On behalf of Dar Al-Hijrah, we would like to appreciate the effort, generosity, and help we have received prior and after the purchase of the building. We pray for each one of you that God exchanges what every you gave, be that your energy or money, a house in Paradise just as our Dear Prophet (pbuh) has promised that “Whoever builds a house for the sake of God; God will establish a house for him or her in the Paradise.”
